City Mentors Program

 

The City Tutors’ City Mentors program connects CUNY students and alumni with industry professionals for self-paced professional mentorship. Sign up any time, and build contacts in the industry you want to work in, have your resumes and other professional documents reviewed by someone in the field, learn about the day-to-day, career paths, resources to take advantage of, and any other help that a mentor in The City Tutors’ City Mentors program can provide. The minimum commitment is one 30-60 minute session, and from there you can continue to meet with the same mentor, request another mentor, or pause sessions for however long you want. You participate in the City Mentors program at your pace.

 

Our Mentors

 

Our mentors are working professionals or currently in graduate school. We connect those seeking help to a mentor in the job or industry sought if you are seeking industry-specific advice, or with a Human Resource or job coach professional. On average our current mentors have at least 12 years work experience. If you are exploring your options, we can connect you with a generalist to help learn about different fields, and have your professional documents reviewed.
